Rynning enlists the services of an Apache tracker to help the struggling rangers thwart an elusive gang of desperadoes who have been committing murders and robberies across Arizona.

Travis pursues Cain Devers, an escaped convict known for bank robbery and counterfeiting, who is employing his counterfeit plates as part of a sinister scheme to destroy both his father and younger brother.
