A special one-off comedy that parodies police procedurals, `A Touch of Cloth' stars John Hannah and Suranne Jones as a mismatched investigative team. DCI Jack Cloth is a heavy-drinking loner who throws himself into his job after the mysterious death of his wife, and his no-nonsense partner is plucky DC Anne Oldman. Together they investigate a series of grisly murders, all the while dealing with their boss, ACC Tom Boss, who alternates between demanding quick results and telling the pair to proceed with caution.
