Alex Polizzi, who comes from a long line of hoteliers, manages a hotel in Devon that is owned by her mother. On this programme, Polizzi tries to turn around the fortunes of businesses that have fallen on hard times. Although most of Polizzi's experience has come in the hotel industry, she is not limiting herself to helping just hospitality-related businesses.
