New student Asagaya Minoa meets the school's anime club, but doesn't have much anime knowledge of her own to contribute, so Kamiigusa Arisu helps her.

Minoa and Arisu decide to put a plan into motion so that they can attempt to recruit new members into the club.

To get away from the student council's threats to shut them down, the club members take a trip to Akihabara and search for a way to keep the club alive.

The club heads to an arts festival that is the ultimate summer anime event, where they meet a bunch of interesting people.
