Julien is searching for missing sex worker Natalie Rose. He meets Edward, Natalie's uncle, and the two men delve into the criminal underworld of Amsterdam's red light district.

Natalie reveals the full shocking truth about Edward, and Julien has to tread carefully. When tragedy strikes, Julien becomes determined to uncover Edward's true motives, and a sinister figure arrives at Sara's door.

Julien confronts Edward and has to take drastic action to protect his family, however, a personal bombshell forces him to face secrets from his own past. Also, Edward finally confesses the exact nature of his relationship with Natalie and Constantin.

Julien goes in pursuit of the money whilst Genevieve coerces Edward to meet Constantin. However, Edward makes a reckless move that puts the entire case in jeopardy. Meanwhile, Martha makes a confession which leaves Julien reeling.

The hunt is on for Edward who has fled to England with the money. Meanwhile, Julien and Genevieve work together to plot an audacious move to try and turn Constant in and take down the Brigada.
