When Vivie accidentally breaks Mel's toy and is too afraid to admit it, Barney helps Vive find the courage to tell the truth.

David doesn't want to play the same thing as everyone else, so the kids end up playing different games; when everything turns into chaos, David remembers that it is important to think about other people's perspectives.

When Mel is in a bad mood, she has a hard time finding happy things. Barney's magical treasure hunt leads Mel to discover that focusing on the things that she is grateful for can make her feel better.

For Barney's birthday, the kids make a quilt featuring their favorite thing about him.
