Benjamin the Elephant

In Newtown Zoo they're planning the yearly Spring Festival, where they always collect donations for the zoo. But unhappily the Mayor has also planned a festival on the same day to collect money for his new town hall.

Gogo Gorilla has hurt his hand while playing. Unfortunately the vet, Dr Zoolittle, is away. So Benjamin treats poor Gogo, and does it so well that the Zoo director makes him the new veterinarian.

The Newtown weather cock is in desperate need of repair. When Benjamin finds this out, he immediately stands in as the weather elephant. The fire brigade builds him a platform on the town hall tower and Otto supplies his friend with food and drink.

Benjamin and Otto learn of the mayor's plans to build a road through the forest and cage the animals in the zoo.

Chico the tassel-eared monkey is given to the Zoo Director for his birthday. When Chico is suddenly missing, Benjamin and Otto set out to find him.

Kashmir the little ghost at Concord Castle can't float or go through walls any more. Now he plans to visit his uncle in Scotland to get his advice and help. The ghostly guided tours will now have to stop.
