Valt Aoi is sent to Spain after being called upon by BC Sol, to help the Spanish team compete in the European League, and possibly win the world championships.

Valt is forced to prove himself to earn his place, after missing the first day of training with BC Sol. When he attends tryouts, he meets an old friend from back home.

BC Sol hold trials to strengthen the team before taking on Sunbat United. Meanwhile, the internal tryouts pit existing players against team captain Free De La Hoya.

Valt and Rantaro are far from home, but are given the opportunity to duel with a familiar face. They are pleased to show off their new skills, but soon find that they are not the only ones who have improved in battle.

BC Sol and Sunbat United go head-to-head in a supposedly friendly match. However. it is soon apparent that the competitors don't see it that way at all, as Silas Karlisle takes off.

Honcho is presented with the opportunity to go head-to-head with an old rival. The BC Sol team members begin to get nervous when they realise that Valt and Rantaro are progressing rapidly.
