The young couple Hanne and Johan are traveling with a group of friends to a remote, mountain facility to investigate whether it can be refurbished and reopened. During their first night Hanne hears strange sounds coming from the basement. When the mysterious caretaker refuses to let them examine the sounds, the group grows suspicious.

Hanne continues to investigate the ski resort's morbid past. A local retired police officer sheds some light on the murders, but suddenly one of the party members mysteriously vanishes.

Hanne finds a new drawing depicting a death in the lake, together with the recurring message 'GAADEK JAAMIT' and looks for a local Sami person who can translate it. Meanwhile, tensions rise at the remote Swedish ski resort as friends don't know who to trust - everyone seems to be hiding something, and they are not making themselves popular with the locals. Jessan is recovering, and hatches a plan to find out what is going on, but it's not to everyone's liking.

Jessan cannot stop talking about the mysterious voice and the hostile message continues to appear. Hanne becomes convinced that a supernatural peril threatens the lives of the group.

Hanne is violently attacked in the basement and barely escapes with her life. The group of friends try to catch and restrain a brutal killer. Meanwhile, Johan has grand plans for his luxury resort, but he struggles to keep the hotel going.

Hanne finds evidence of the plant's history is darker than she first imagined. Meanwhile, Elin has got an eye inflammation that Hanne believes is a sign of the curse that haunts the building.
