In 1969, Brock carves a name for himself in Australian motor sport in an eccentric little vehicle he built himself: the Austin A30. The next thing Brock knows, he’s driving in the premier event of the racing calendar: the Hardie Ferodo 500. In his first outing at the famed enduro, he beats Allan Moffat for third place and a rivalry is born that will dominate the sport for many years to come.
Part two starts with Peter buying the Holden Race Team. He gets to bring in all his mates and run the team just the way he wants. Except for some personal fights between Peter and his brother Phil, everything goes wonderfully at first. Even when major tournament driving is no longer on the cards, Peter can never stop - he just loves driving fast. And that’s what makes a champion.
