Defending the Guilty
In BBC2's sitcom `Defending the Guilty', set in the world of law, Will Packham, portrayed by Will Sharpe, is an idealistic pupil barrister. However, his boss doesn't respect him, his clients are all guilty and he is fighting for his job. Will is starting to wonder if he has got what it takes, especially when he has to defend a would-be murderer, keep a poet out of custody, and has to fetch Caroline, portrayed by Katherine Parkinson, a range of pastries. The series is based on the book `Defending the Guilty: Truth and Lies in the Criminal Courtroom', written by Alex McBride.
