From time-to-time paintings purported to be famous artists appear which cause a stir in the art world. From Paris and Amsterdam to Cape Town and New York, the team employs old-fashioned detective skills to research the provenance of the paintings, as well as the latest forensic testing to reveal compelling tales of lost masterpieces, forgeries and thefts.
