Flipping Farms

Jeff and Rachel, a father-daughter duo, buy and renovate dilapidated farms. They also start a business on them. In this episode, they introduce us to their barn manager who is going to oversee their new horse boarding facility. A quick recap of renovations already completed in the home and then renovations begin with landscaping and the viewing room, which overlooks the indoor arena.

Renovations move inside the farm house as the summer kitchen gets a major transformation. Rachel decides that the second story needs to be torn down. The demolition of the summer kitchen reveals a mysterious envelope, causing Jeff to hire a local historian to help answer some questions about the farm.

An old shed outside Rachel's house takes on a new purpose. Jeff and Rachel banter back and forth about what to call the shed. A playful competition takes place to see who gets to decide the future of the shed. As the designs are discussed, Jeff questions Rachel's color choices. While Rachel heads to Dallas for a business trip, Jeff takes the design into his own hands.

Rachel kicks off the tack room renovation before whisking her two boys off the farm for an adventure in Lancaster, PA. The boys explore the vibrant farmers market, a fascinating model train museum, an ice cream factory, and a science museum, and they even spend the night in a charming motel made from old train cabooses.

The old school bus is re-imagined when transformed into a chicken coop. Upon cleaning out the bus for renovations, Stephen discovers a cat and confesses his fear. Moving the school bus proves to be an issue so Jeff brings in some extra horsepower. Jeff also comes up with the idea that singing to the chickens will produce more eggs.

Jeff and Rachel head to Nashville to talk with a radio station, (WayFm) about their new show Flipping Farms. While there, they talk with a local horse ranch owner (Kolt Barber) about the horse boarding business. Jeff and Rachel also visit the Johnny Cash farm where they meet up and coming country artist Neah McMeen. Back at the farm, the crew renovates the exterior of the horse trainer's office.
