Aging gay writer Jimmy Randall finally gets a big break when he's hired to produce his own show for the Here TV network, but only with a tiny budget and many strings attached. From here on out, Jimmy is headed for one hilarious headache after another!

Sam freaks out during a Hawaiian love scene leading Jimmy to discover that his gay leading man is actually straight; Jimmy and Sam come up with a plan to hide Sam's raging heterosexuality and keep the show in production.

Pressure ramps up as network president Taylor adds another episode to the production but cuts the budget, while suspicions mount over the coupledom of Sam and Jimmy, who nearly get arrested in a desperate scheme to raise money for the disgruntled crew!

Jimmy bribes the crew with office supplies; Divina butchers her Scottish accent; Rico has a three-way with the guest actors; Sam gives Jimmy a public kiss to sell their relationship; Dottie saves the day after the crew walks.

Taylor sets up an interview for Jimmy and Sam as Hollywood's unlikely new power couple for the cover of Out magazine; they struggle to sell their relationship to the dubious editor who's done a little research of his own.

Sam and Jimmy are photographed for OUT Magazine but then lose the cover when megastar Eric Mutos comes out as gay...friendly, but thanks to some inside info from Rico the poolboy, Eric becomes the gang's secret weapon to make their show an instant hit.
