After a turbulent past, Asgeir and his daughter Michelle have settled in a small rural town in western Norway. His new, quiet life takes a turn for the worse after Asgeir discovers that dark forces are lurking.

Asgeir must face the consequences of his actions. Ragna meets the German Brehme and realises how big the terror cell's ambitions are, and witnesses what they are capable of in the pursuit of their ambitions.

Ragna reveals how far she is willing to go to become part of the group and continue her mission. When Asgeir's identity is leaked, neither he nor his daughter are safe any more.

Ole and Brehme shift to higher gear in their terrifying plans and cross the border into Germany. Asgeir works with the anti-terror cell to rescue Ragna and to stop the extremists before they launch another attack.

The undercover mission is under pressure. A leak has been discovered in the Federal Ministry of the Interior. Consequently, tensions are running high in both camps as they know that one wrong move can endanger thousands of lives.

After arriving in Berlin, Ragna approaches Ole and learns more about the ideology behind the cell's plan, but just when she thinks she has control over the situation, her worst fears come true.
