This six-part drama explores the inner tensions of a fractured family, as a woman has to decide whether to trust her new partner over her children's judgement. When wealthy divorcee Julia Day finds herself completely alone on her 60th birthday, her ex-husband and children having variously let her down, she bumps into Benjamin in a museum and they get talking. The pair quickly form a connection and soon begin a relationship. However, Julia's children are immediately wary of Benjamin, and suspect him of being more in love with their mother's money than with the real Julia. Meanwhile, Benjamin really does seem to be hiding something, but the truth may not be what anyone suspects.
