John Paul Rocksavage is a good guy working at a tough, pressure-filled job. He's a response cop, part of a tight group of PCs covering emergency calls in Liverpool City Centre. By all accounts, Rocksavage - Sav, as he's called - is an excellent cop, but as one of the team's youngest officers, he still has much to learn. Nothing, however, prepares him for the day he witnesses a brutal attack on his best friend and partner. In the blink of an eye, Sav will never be the same. Is getting revenge the answer? When he begins to question the difference between right and wrong, the conclusion he reaches affects the rest of his life.
