Hell's Kitchen

The 18 chefs competing in this season of Hell’s Kitchen are all aged 24 and under, and they’re all looking to win the head chef position at Gordon Ramsay Steak in Las Vegas. To kick off the competition, the aspiring chefs all cook their signature dishes.

Before the teams prepare dinner service, the competing chefs cook with alcohol in an ingredient challenge. Unfortunately, things don’t go to plan for one of the teams, and the first contestant is sent home.

The chefs compete in their first team challenge, and it’s a throwback to season one of Hell’s Kitchen: prepping squid. At dinner service, one team overcomes a difficult start and finishes strong, while the other struggles to remember the tickets and brings disaster with raw chicken.

The teams go head-to-head in a speed challenge serving Paris Hotel employees and the winners are awarded a special treat, while the losers are stuck with a day of pastry. Dinner service presents problems for both teams, with fish, meat, and garnish all going wrong.

Gordon Ramsay mixes up the teams. There’s a communication challenge for the competing chefs to sink their teeth into, with an exciting reward for the winners.

The teams compete to have their original dishes chosen for the birthday party of Chef Ramsay’s daughter, and the opportunity to surf at Planet Hollywood serves as an extra incentive for the winner.
