House of Tiny Tearaways

First to arrive are parents Lee and Louise Turner from Rochdale who have come to deal with the tantrums and bad behaviour of their daughters Hannah aged six and Jessica aged three. Second to arrive are the Cooksleys.

Dr Tanya Byron is starting to intervene. She has talked very tough to the Cooksley family, and wants them to get tough today for the first time ever. Tanya bans their hand puppets, and sets up a messy picnic to get them to experiment with food.

Dante refuses to sleep on his own, and even when his mother Nicola puts her foot down he gets up around 15 times a night to find her. It's not unusual for Nicola to only get three hours sleep a night, and she's even resorted to sleeping on the sofa to cure her son.

Nicola and Louise argue, Tanya calls a house meeting, the Turners go on safari, the Cooksleys say goodbye to Lewis' babyhood by sending his bottle away with the 'bottle fairy', and Lee proposes to Louise.

After a very emotional week, it's the final day of the week. There are lots of tears on the final day. And when they go back home, the families manage to build on the progress they've made so far.

The first day is always assessment day in the `House of Tiny Tearaways'. Before Dr Tanya can start treating the problems, she needs to spend this day watching to get a real understanding of where things are going wrong.
