Regardless of the truth, Hae Kang is a ruthless lawyer who always wins a case; she sheds no blood or tears making Jin Eon grow exhausted towards his wife.

Hae Kang sees her husband putting sneakers on Seol Ri; Hae Kang is enraged at the sight of her husband acting so differently outside of their home.

Hae Kang waits in front of the elevators for the doors to open; she becomes angry after seeing Jin Eon and Seol Ri acting awkward but pretends she's not mad and invites Seol Ri to eat.

Jin Eon finds out that Seol Ri was an orphan; In Seol Ri's tiny home, they try to beat the heat with some ice; Hae Kang calls Jin Eon to come home and he lies saying he has to spend the night in the lab.

Hae Kang is angry with the way Seol Ri acts righteous with her blatant attitude but she will not divorce Jin Eon; Hae Kang tells Jin Eon's mother that her son is cheating and asks for help.

Hae Kang can't stand the sight of Jin Eon getting closer to Seol Ri and they fight; Jin Eon doesn't want to end their marriage in hate and offers to leave the house.
