Ireland's Wild Islands

Eoin starts his island voyage on Rathlin, then heads west for Malin Head and Inishtrahull meeting Basking Sharks and Dolphins en route, before going south to Achill Island and the story of the Irish Stoat.

Eoin visits a wondrous native woodland on Clare Island and as he sails his Galway Hooker through Connemara's turquoise waters he finds deserted islands home to skylarks and on the Aran Islands, Ireland's only native reptile.

Eoin is back in his Galway Hooker and sailing to the islands off County Kerry before heading south into his home waters off Cork and the end of his journey at Fastnet Rock.

Endure winter and early spring on the West Coast, where animals eke out a chilly existence. Watch red deer battle on windswept Inishvickillane, welcome seal pups amid howling storms on the Inishkea islands, and view the return of the basking sharks.

Exploring a 1,500-year-old monastery among the crags of the world-famous Skellig Islands. A look at Manx shearwaters and humpback whales, a chase after pygmy shrews on Clare, and a peek at an autumn spectacle on the Aran Islands.
