The teams are challenged to create something found at the bottom of the ocean. Their creations will be put into a large pool that will fill with water, then drain again.

The teams have to build a stunt vehicle that can go up a ramp and soar through a ring of fire, clear nine LEGO school buses, and explode on the ground.

Teams must create a song title out of LEGO, and make their builds clear enough that a musical mystery guest can guess what song they have built without them saying a word.

The builders have to make a futuristic car and balance on a magnetic platform, so they hover. The teams then have to transform an old object by bringing it to 'life'. The new build must connect to the old object and make a cohesive story.

The teams have just 10 hours to build a model at minifigure scale that's whole on one side but, when spun around, reveals a world that's cut in half. The contestants aren't told whether the challenge is an elimination round or not.

The teams are challenged to create a bridge that can survive two shaking plates. If more than one bridge can survive all 12 levels of shaking, then the best-looking bridge will win.
