Bradley visits Venice during Carnival. He tries to find remnants of the city's golden age. He then visits Acre and Jerusalem in Israel, and Aleppo in Syria. The leg ends in Turkey, in the city of Yumurtalik.

Always heading east, across remote mountain ranges, inhospitable deserts and ancient cities, Bradley Mayhem follows the route of Marco Polo.

Bradley arrives in Afghanistan and knows the road ahead is not going to be easy. He arrives in the city of Herat, and travels on to Balkh and Tajikistan. Finally, he visits Kashgar, China, one of Asia's largest markets.

Bradley follows the Silk Road through Gansu Province to Lanzhou, his next stop. He also passes through Inner Mongolia and Shandong Province. Finally, he arrives in the imperial city, Beijing.
