Mata Hari

At the turn of the 20th century, tensions in Europe begin to rising. After the death of her son Norman John, Margaret, a young woman trapped in a violent marriage, flees to Europe with her young daughter Nonn.

Margaret works to make ends meet and return to Nonn. An opportunity to move in with a family and become a horse trainer finds Nonn tangled in a web of temptation and betrayal.

Now a musical performer on the streets of Paris, Margaret finds powerful backing from a wealthy benefactor.

In an effort to restore her reputation, Margaret has an arranged marriage with Astruc. In Paris, she runs a flower shop, but a world of danger and darkness lies beneath the veneer of happiness.
