My First Festivals

Following Rory as he rocks out at his first ever music festival. Rory is inspired to attend a music festival after dad gives him a guitar lesson. He helps his mum and dad grab their tent before heading off to a fun music festival.

Following seven-year-old Iqra as she and her family prepare for the celebration Eid (Eid Al-Adha). With lots of things to do before the big day, Iqra starts her journey by visiting her local mosque to meet the Imam to find out more about Eid. Traditionally family members get each other a secret gift for Eid. After buying a secret present for her dad and a new dress, she joins her mum and grandma by helping them to cook up some delicious special food for her community.

Follow Deeya as she celebrates Diwali, the Hindu festival of light. Deeya begins by going to the park with her mum, where she learns how the colours and lights represent the festival. After shopping for something to wear for their big Diwali party, Deeya finds the perfect dress and heads back home. There, she helps her great-grandma to cook some delicious, authentic Indian snacks and decorate the house with lots of lights.

We follow Rose as she celebrates Christmas with her family. Rose and her family visit the garden centre, where they find lots of festive decorations which they purchase alongside a Christmas tree. Once they arrive back at home, they all work together to decorate the house. After putting up the tree and leaving a sign for Santa in the window, Rose's parents take her for a magical experience: visiting Santa Claus in his grotto. Here, Rose tells Santa all about how well behaved she was.
