A fun family holiday in Turkey quickly turns into every parent’s worst nightmare when British teenager Noah is arrested for a serious crime that he denies. With Noah locked up in a Turkish jail Kathy and Martin must attempt to fight for his freedom.

When Kathy and Martin's teenage son Noah goes to a beach party during a family holiday, little do they know their world is about to turn upside down. Accused of a serious crime he denies committing, sixteen-year-old Noah is supposed to be sitting exams and spending the summer having fun before college, but instead he faces years in a Turkish prison, thousands of miles from home.

When Kathy and Martin visit Noah in prison, the gravity of the situation knocks both parents sideways. Kathy implores her son to be brave, but when Noah is back in his cell, lawyer Rico reveals the truth of their new reality. The Turkish system is different and Noah will be detained for months with no release date on the horizon.

The court hearing is a mortifying experience for Noah. Megan flies home and confronts Steve about his suspicious behaviour. Meanwhile Kathy opens old wounds with Martin, and a violent attack leaves Noah scared for his life.

Underlying resentments between Kathy and Megan erupt, while their marriages grow increasingly strained. As Noah's final verdict approaches, the family are more divided than ever.
