Operatunity

The journey begins to discover whether someone who has never sung opera professionally can handle a major role in an English National Opera production onstage at the London Coliseum with world-class singers.

The remaining contestants are followed throughout an intensive training weekend of opera techniques and movement workshops led by key members of English National Opera staff.

The final six contestants are invited to London for two weeks of the most intensive musical work of their lives, where they have to push themselves harder than they thought possible.

The winners of Operatunity, trainee opera singers Jane Gilchrist and Denise Leigh, take to the stage at the Coliseum, the home of the English National Opera.
