Parade's End
Set during the dying days of the Edwardian era and the end of the first world war, `Parade's End' follows the conflicted relationship between conservative English aristocrat Christopher Tietjens, his beautiful but headstrong wife, Sylvia, and fearless young suffragette Valentine Wannop. The five-part drama is adapted by internationally acclaimed playwright and screenwriter Tom Stoppard (`Empire of the Sun', `Shakespeare in Love') from a series of novels by Ford Madox Ford. It's directed by BAFTA winner Susanna White.
