Popeye, Olive and Wimpy are shipwrecked on Sindbad the Sailor's tropical island. Sindbad sees Olive as his queen but she rebuffs him. A furious Bluto battles a jealous Popeye.

Popeye is ordered to stop Ali Baba and his 40 thieves from robbing desert villages. Popeye, Wimpy and Olive take off in his plane but crash. When Ali Baba charges into the town, they subdue Popeye and take Olive and Wimpy into the desert.

Olive Oyl works for a movie company writing scripts. In one, she pictures herself as a lovely Princess and Popeye as charming Prince Aladdin. An evil villain appears to battle Popeye for control of his magic lamp and thus wins Olive.

Popeye's nephews find a horse who is a fugitive from a glue factory and try to convince Uncle Popeye what a wonderful house pet it would make.

Popeye is smitten with Olive Oyl but lacks the nerve to propose. His pal Shorty gives him some good advice and rehearses a proposal and marriage ceremony with Popeye in the role of the great lover.

POPEYE and Bluto vie for Olive Oyl, the star singer and exotic Latin dancer in a Rio night club. POPEYE "goes Latin" and learns to "shake it the Samba way" to win the fair Olive.
