Two newcomers, Karen and Lynn, begin their life in prison. Lynn's determined to prove her innocence. They're both inducted into Wentworth Detention Centre's harsh regime. Karen runs into a familiar face.

The prisoner's throw a farewell party for Bea and Mum. Mum leaves her beloved garden in Lynn's hands. Bea gets a helpful gift from her old roommate after visiting her daughter's grave.

Franky shows her control over the other prisoners. Bea is back in her cell in no time. Franky starts a riot in the dining room upon her return. A pregnant inmate goes into labour. Bea and Franky fight one on one.

Rosie gives birth to a boy, and Eddie tells Marilyn he saw who stabbed Bill. Bea and the girls take revenge on a fellow inmate, who is transferred to another prison. Meg suffers a breakdown.

Mum recuperates at her daughter's home but has to pretend to the children that she is an aunt. Frankie and Bea fight during a dance class, and Yates is caught smuggling the pill in for Marilyn.

Meg visits Mr Bentley for answers concerning Lynn's pregnancy. Franky unsuccessfully tries to swindle Lizzie for supply money, taking her false teeth instead. Marilyn hears new about her parole.
