On her 14th birthday, Taylor Young receives a chest from an uncle who disappeared five years agoleading her on an adventure with her mother Emily, a marine biologist, her stepfather Sunny and her half-sister Lila.

A symbol leads Taylor and her friends across Rock Island to find Uncle Charlie's missing plane. However, they remain unaware that someone else is after the missing treasure and is hot on their trail.

Taylor and her friends meet Faraz, an old friend of Uncle Charlie, who has discovered the Fountain of Youth. The group attempt to find out if it is connected with Uncle Charlie's mysterious disappearance.

Taylor helps a teenage girl who arrives on the shore claiming she has no memory, leading him and his friends on a mission to discover the girl's true identity before anyone else can.

Taylor and the boys receive a mysterious message after a pink aurora appears above Rock Island. As the boys begin to investigate the strange occurrence, they begin to realise that the message came from their future selves.

Taylor accidentally creates a clone of herself, who ends up causing a lot of trouble.
