Scrapheap Challenge

A group of eccentric Cambridge therapists competes with Peterborough's finest washing machine repairers to make a flying machine. In the spirit of the aviation pioneers, a brave pilot from each team tries to get their scrap airborne in the grand finale, with the longest flight winning.

Two teams go head to head in an explosive battle of ingenuity and improvisation. The challenge is to build a cannon capable of firing a weighty projectile 150 metres.
