Dr Ding Ding cannot stand the noise that Tata and Kuma make all day long, so he demands that Tata and Kuma leave the flat - when they ignore him, Ding Ding plans to force them to leave by making Room 1004's environment uninhabitable. When Ding Ding makes the floor a fiery hell, Tata and Kuma enjoy the sauna-like effect, and when the doctor freezes the floor to make it feel like Alaska, the pair enjoy skating and eating ice flakes.

Tata begins cleaning up the flat to welcome Mei home, but Kuma messes up the room when looking for his favourite socks - meanwhile, Dr Ding Ding and the Mouse Commandos are messing around in the bathroom. Tata decides to carry out his cleaning mission on his own, but it is difficult to make progress with the others around - to make matters worse, the flat's ceiling - shared with the mysterious neighbour upstairs - collapses and turns the whole flat into a swimming pool!

Pobi, the neighbour from upstairs, appears suddenly in the now-flooded Room 1004 - Tata tries to complain about the water flowing downstairs, but Pobi just keeps asking questions without listening to Tata. Tata therefore goes into Pobi's house to fix the water pump by himself, but he fails and gets swept away by a strong current and falls back into Room 1004.

Tata panics when Mei's return signal rings, and he struggles to clean up the mess in the flat before Mei comes home.

Kuma decides not to leave bed - staying there all day, he decides to be completely and utterly lazy. However, Tata's new toy drone flies to Kuma's bed and accidentally gets under Kuma, and a fight starts when Tata tries to make Kuma get out of the bed to get it back but Kuma refuses to move.

While watching TV, Tata and Kuma tussle over space on the sofa - each of them gets emotional and draws a line on the sofa, and when the battle of nerves continues to run high, it turns into a fight. A short peaceful time after a fight, a new rival for the sofa shows up.
