The Bopps

Stan Bopp is up and about and eager to play but the other Bopps are enjoying a nap. In Bopp world no-one sleeps when Stan is awake! The first song, "Park", is a perky, poppy singalong song about going to the park. Question; If the sun is shining, the sky is blue – and you don’t want to stay at home ... what should you do? Answer; Go to the park and run around. Yeah! / Now we all know the rules to ‘pass the parcel’ and Keith Bopp wants to win very badly. Let’s hope he likes what he finds in the box……the second song, "Hoppity Hop" does exactly what it says on the tin. It encourages everyone to get up on one leg, start to bounce and then follow The Bopps as they hop along – singing this song. (“Hoppity hop, hop, hop.”)

All Stan Bopp wants is a peaceful breakfast but alas the other Bopps are in the mood for dancing. The first song is "Dance" – A rave-tastic piece of pop that celebrates the joys of spinning gently round whilst loving the dance. (“She’s got no time to sleep, got no time to eat. Got no time for anything – but dancing feet.”) / Mike Bopp has invented a labour saving teeth cleaning machine…..has he finally invented something that will work? Features the song "Teeth" – eating sticky chewy stuff is fun, but not quite as much fun as listening to this little number. WARNING – you may find the chorus gets stuck in your head. But at least you’ll have something to hum as you “clean your teeth for a smile so bright it shines!”

Stan Bopp finds a novel way to help Keith Bopp reach his lost ball…..and one or two others lost in the rafters. Features "Numbers" – a bright and breezy tune that will get stuck in your head and ensure that you’re always able to count to eleven, even if it does put a confused smile on your face (“1, 2, 3, climbing up the lollipop tree?”) / The Bopps enjoy a game of hide and seek. Features "Ghost Song" – the story of a little ghost who just isn’t very good at it. But after taking advice – gets the hang of howling, pulling faces and generally enjoying himself.

Mike Bopp has created cakes in his new cooking machine……I’m sure they’ll be good for something. Features the song "Toybox" – putting the toys away in the toybox is pretty much a daily ritual in most houses... well, now there’s a song to sing whilst you’re doing it. (“Where does this go? ... In the toybox!”) / Mike Bopp has invented a hat that, when worn on the head, makes you dance. Stan Bopp accidentally sits on it. Includes the song "Noisy Nigel" – a punky, noisy, rocky hymn to the joys of making lots of noise. Our hero, Nigel, has lots of chances to make noise – and he takes every single one of them. (“Noisy Nigel, likes to make a lot of noise. Noisy Nigel, like to play with noisy toys.”)

Clean instruments are happy instruments. Stan Bopp conducts the cleaning effort. Features the song "The Bopps Theme" – a happy stomping little number that tells you exactly what The Bopps like to do in their spare time (sing, play and dance – since you ask). It also encourages everyone, young or old, to join in and be a Bopper too! / Keith Bopp gives Stan Bopp a haircut. Features the song "Jelly Shoes" – ever noticed how some clothes (or shoes) can make you feel differently about the world? Well here’s a lovely bouncy ode to the pleasures of shoes that put a spring in your step and a smile on your face.

Stan and Jo Bopp have a game of blow football. Mike Bopp creates a new invention that could blow your socks off! Today’s song, "Best Friend", talks about the delights of friendship and reminds us to how great it is to have each other around. (“I’ll be your best friend, rain or shine. I’ll be your best friend, will you be mine?”) / The Bopps have a tea party that packs a real punch! Today’s second song, "Sunshine", is a bouncy, Beatles-type slice of pop. One that sings about that lovely golden glowing stuff that falls from the sky every now and then... what’s it called? Oh, yeah – sunshine!
