Kusuo Saiki hopes for an easy life despite his psychic abilities, but his sophomore year of high school quickly proves him wrong.

Kusuo inadvertently makes a brilliant dodge-ball play in gym class, putting him on a collision course with his athletic classmates Kineshi and Riki.

Young medium Toritsuka Reita who can see ghosts asks Kusuo to take him on as a student in ESP, but Reita's motivations are anything but noble.

Kusuo changes his routine so that he can get home from school in time to watch anime. His worried friends, meanwhile, are searching all over for him.

Kusuo heads to the grocery store to buy dessert, and has to decide which coffee jelly will be the best. But luckily, he has ESP to help him.
