When flight attendant Cassie Bowden meets handsome passenger Alex Sokolov on the way to Bangkok, she decides to spend a drunken night with him. Then she wakes up the next morning beside a dead body with no memory of what happened.

Rattled by her own lies and under pressure from the FBI, Cassie goes against Annie's advice to lay low and tries to find some answers by digging into Alex Sokolov's work life.

Upon landing in Rome, Cassie deals with her sudden feelings of loss, and Megan confesses that she has secrets of her own. Back in New York, Cassie doubles down on finding Miranda by unceremoniously crashing Alex's memorial service.

After piecing together evidence with help from Max, Cassie follows the paper trail to an empty private jet manned by Nate. Megan attempts to hide her shady dealings from her family, and Annie faces a reprimand from her boss, Diana.

With Miranda on her tail and the FBI closing in, Cassie enlists Max in a plan that involves breaking and entering, computer fraud, and too much vodka. Annie is forced to repay an ominous favour to a client. Megan's secrets threaten to come to light.

Reeling from a fallout with Annie, Cassie brings Buckley along for an alcohol-fuelled escapade that ends in a meltdown. Megan embarks on a clandestine mission. Amid mounting pressure from her co-conspirators, Miranda continues to hunt Cassie down.
