The Future Diary

Yuki's cell phone diary fills with events that start to come true as his day goes on, thanks to his friend Deus, who reveals himself to be the god of time and space; a model student with a similar diary learns that someone intends to murder Yuki.

After surviving the first assassination attempt, Yuki and Yuno put their diaries together to stop a student who booby-traps the school hallways with motion-activated bombs; Kurusu, a police officer holding a diary of his own, comes to their aid.

Kurusu sends Yuki and Yuno on a date at the amusement park to see if Minene will take the bait and try another attack; Minene, desperately seeking a safe haven from the police chasing her, accepts a stranger's invitation but comes to regret it.

The cult leader betrays Yuki and takes Yuno hostage, but not before Yuno manages to give him her cell phone so he can get away from the cultists and form a plan to rescue her.

Yuki's mother returns from working abroad and Yuno insists upon meeting her and making a good impression; an orphaned boy with a future diary plans to take revenge on Yuno for his parents' deaths.

Yuki and Yuno fight off Reisuke's attempts to kill them and search for his hidden diary, unwittingly involving Yuki's mother in the process.
