A doctor in training finds his life in upheaval when an accident forces him to choose between pursuing his own desires and self-sacrifice.

Jae-gil angers Maru when he speaks negatively about Jae-hee. Eun-ki continues to work while still a patient, and Maru takes his sister to the doctor for a checkup.

Workers call for Eun-ki's resignation. When Eun-ki gets injured in a motorcycle crash, Jae-hee rescues an item of hers that brings them closer.

Jae-hee and Eun-ki argue about Maru. Choco goes to a singing audition and Min-young and Jae-hee conspire against Eun-ki's father.

Maru recalls Jae-hee's request for money when he finds a discrepancy in the resort's books. Jae-hee signs with an American company to punish Eun-ki.

In a fit of rage, Eun-ki's father kicks Jae-hee out, even though she tried to save the resort. Maru invites Eun-ki to stay at his house.
