A mysterious object falls to Earth, resulting in the deaths -- and resurrections -- of five strangers, who learn they have supernatural gifts.

The mysterious Rose meets with Vera, Erin, Joshua, Raul and Peter, and tells them they are angels who must stop the Rapture from happening. Vera is tempted with clues about her son.

Hunting for the Horseman of War, Joshua, Erin and Peter make advances for the group. Raul and Vera stray, causing unexpected consequences. Vera rethinks her purpose after discovering her gift.

The heroes must identify the Horseman of War and his victim at an international energy summit, and the Man endeavours to keep one of the Messengers in jail.

Erin tries to celebrate Amy's birthday in peace, and Raul lends a hand as Joshua attempts to jumpstart his visions.

During a united search for the Second Horseman of the Apocalypse, Vera and Alan continue their investigation into the genesis stone's secrets. Erin learns the price of her gift.
