After being selected for the jury, a juror is caught in a web of lies with her husband. The accused, Kate Lawson, is painted as a fiend by the Prosecution and a loving aunt by her Defence... but what will the jury believe?

Detective Sam Chedid takes the stand as various pieces of evidence are introduced to the Court, some of which raise questions about Nathan Spears' involvement. With the trial underway, some jurors begin to form connections whilst others clash.

Kate Lawson's provocative artwork takes centre stage in the Courtroom. The Crown raises questions around her artistic methods, as well as revealing a complicated mental health diagnosis. The trial begins to creep into the personal lives of each juror, affecting some in more confronting ways than others.

Claire's father, Nathan Spears, takes the stand. He paints Kate as a sexual predator who groomed Claire, but reveals his temper when Colby gets under his skin. The jurors are conflicted - is this man capable of murder?
