Tokyo Ghoul

An ordinary college student named Kaneki meets a girl who also loves to read and his fate changes when she reveals herself as a ghoul who craves human flesh -- and intends to eat him alive.

Kaneki struggles to adjust to his new life and his changed body. When Nishiki Nishio preys on his friend Hideyoshi Nagachika, Kaneki fights to protect him, but worries about his condition.

After rescuing his friend, Kaneki is taken in by Yoshimura and Touka Kirishima. Yoshimura helps Kaneki learn how to blend in with humans.

Kaneki makes friends with Tsukiyama, a ghoul acquaintance of Rize who enjoys reading and possesses other, more epicurean tastes.

After Touka falls ill, Kaneki pays her a visit that has some unexpected consequences. Tsukiyama prepares another trap for Kaneki.

Now that Kimi knows Nishiki and Kaneki are ghouls, Touka wants to kill Kimi. Hinami is upset when she cannot see her father.
