Tom starts in the Fens in Cambridgeshire where he is in search of beetroot, he cooks a beetroot and pearl barley salad. Tom's journey then heads to Kent to one of the county's famous orchards before making crumble.

Tom heads to Hexham in the Pennines to see what it takes to raise the star ingredient of his Steak Diane, then cooks with tomatoes in Lancashire.

Tom and his truck head to Cornwall to cook his favourite sardines recipe, make an early start at a dairy farm, and make his ultimate rice pudding dish.

Tom heads to Scotland and starts at the very top of the country, in the stunning Isle of Mull, where he is in search of mussels. His journey then heads south to Arbroath, which is home to some of the biggest soft fruit farms in the country.

Tom heads to eastern Scotland to get stuck into a tough day at sea, make smoked haddock kedgeree, and create the ultimate carrot cake.

Tom heads up the border between England and Wales starting in Powys, a place he used to visit as a child to play rugby but where he is today on the search for free-range chicken. Then it's onwards to Lancashire to Britain's first shitake farm.
