DI Dave Creegan is faced with a tough first case when three children are abducted. He soon has a suspect - Ronald Hinks, a scientist for a Swiss pharmaceutical company. However, there is very little evidence to secure a conviction. Desperate to find the boys, Creegan begins to feel the pressure - especially when Hinks' high-powered solicitor arrives to secure his release from custody.

In the final episode of this series, DI Dave Creegan catches two killers on the loose. He has to enlist the help of convicted murderess Justine Barber to catch the man behind the killings. Meanwhile, Kreitman is reaching breaking point.
