Five students of the Rescue Bots Training Academy from Cybertron, Hot Shot, Whirl, Medix, Hoist and Wedge, learn to respond to emergency situations and become heroes.

Hotshot learns to find his place on the Rescue Bot Recruits team with the help of the Mul-T-Cog and his friends.

Bad Luck Chuck
Hot Shot is frustrated by their slow speed during a simulation and, while taking a shortcut, accidentally runs into Chuck. He must baby-sit the damaged RBA Test Robot until the new parts are ready, but Chuck won't stay put.
EPISODE 4
If At First
At his teammates' urging, Hoist invents some new `cool tools' to improve their rescue abilities. But they fail spectacularly, leaving Hoist feeling awful - until Boulder teaches him not to give up.
EPISODE 5
Whirl'D View
When the recruits get caught in a snow storm, Whirl's police bot attention to procedure and detail saves the day.
EPISODE 6
Plan Bee
The recruits keep failing a fire rescue simulation, until they realise that on Earth even the tiniest living things play a huge part.
