Twilight

Liu Xia (Angelababy) is a young, talented psychologist, who is about to give a keynote speech at a conference for counselors. But on her way to the event, she notices something amiss about a man who takes the same elevator as her. She eventually deduces that he is intending to jump to his death from the roof of the building. So, rather than deliver the speech, she rushes off to the building to talk him out of suicide, while a crowd of people watches on below. The event has a profound effect on her – making her think that she should create a space where she can help people with their psychological problems. Meanwhile, Qi Lian Shan (Ren Jia Lun) is a screenwriter who is working on making an all-action, high-octane script for a drama. He is working on the script in a cafe nearby, and is awed to see that a psychologist can save the day too! A twist of fate brings them into contact with one another, and they soon decide to collaborate: Qi Lian Shan asks Liu Xia to help him develop his script. And Liu Xia wants Qi Lian Shan’s help to assist in creating an AI-powered mental health platform. But will working together like this fan the flames of romance? This drama was based on a novel by Yu Jing Peng Xiang “Twilight” is a 2023 Chinese drama series that was directed by Leon Li.
