Derek Brockway participates in two walks close to the English border - along the hills overlooking Abergavenny and in Holywell.

Derek Brockway enjoys walks around Wales. In this edition, he partakes of two walks at opposite ends of the country - in Llanberis and Llanelli.

Derek heads west for two walks - one down by the sea and the other up in the hills with an iconic castle as its centrepiece. He first takes a hop across the water from Tenby to Caldey Island, then he takes a circular walk around Carreg Cennen Castle.

Derek is on ranger duties at a country estate in Carmarthenshire, exploring Dinefwr Park's 800 acres of magical medieval landscape and getting close to a very rare cattle breed. In the Vale of Glamorgan, Derek is joined by Olympian Colin Jackson.

Derek visits two places shaped by the Industrial Revolution. In Powys, he is at Lake Vyrnwy with fellow presenter Sian Lloyd, where they learn about the village that was flooded to make way for the reservoir which still supplies Liverpool with water.
