Two bushrangers on the outside of the law return home after a month, to find a new superintendent of police.

Jack awakes after being shot and is shocked to hear who was behind the shooting at the Ryan Farm. His plans for revenge ruin love interest Mary's plan for a fresh start.

Jack and his acquaintances rob a bank to help Mary, but the operation goes from bad to worse when they take the manager and his wife hostage in wait for the arrival of gold.

The boys risk serious trouble when they steal, paint and then enter the town's favourite horse to win the Hopetoun Cup, all while being sought by a dangerous detective.

A new bushranger in town tries to emit authority over the Wild Boys. The past comes back to haunt Dan and he gets an offer he can't refuse without risking his life.

The town becomes wary of a cannibal after several body parts are discovered around Hopetown. However, Scanlon realises a villain has returned from the past.
