Max Adler

Playing closeted gay athlete Dave Karofsky on the smash musical series "Glee," actor Max Adler has received praise across the board--many critics cited his emotional and multi-layered depiction of that troubled teen as a series highlight. It didn't take Adler too long to land that big break in 2009, and Karofsky had built up his pre-"Glee" resume with one-off roles on a handful of shows, including the supernatural drama "Ghost Whisperer" and the police drama "Cold Case." Quality exposure for his "Glee" role offered a springboard into the world of motion pictures, including the football biopic "23 Blast" and the critically panned horror-thriller "Wolf Town."
