John Scott Clough

John Scott Clough was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Clough began his acting career in film, appearing in such titles as "Fast Forward" (1985), "3:15" (1986) and the Jennifer Rubin horror flick "Bad Dreams" (1988). Clough worked in television around the start of his acting career with a role on "Night Court" (NBC, 1983-1992). He appeared in a number of television specials, including "The Dog Days of Arthur Cane" (ABC, 1983-84) and "Rowdies" (ABC, 1985-86). His work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "Return to Green Acres" (CBS, 1989-1990). He also appeared in the TV special "Golden Land" (PBS, 1988-89). His career progressed to film, including a role in the comedic drama "Gross Anatomy" (1989) with Matthew Modine. He also worked in television during these years, including a part on "Empty Nest" (NBC, 1988-1995). More recently, he tackled roles on "Melrose Place" (1991-98), "Likely Suspects" (Fox, 1992-93) and "A League of Their Own" (CBS, 1992-93). He also was featured in the TV movie "Keeping Secrets" (ABC, 1991-92). Clough most recently acted in "Phantoms" (1998) with Peter O'Toole.
