S1, E1: In this episode, Janny investigates what a Dutch meal truly is, and, of course, that can’t be accomplished without potatoes and stamppot. Potato farmers Jur and Jan Parlevliet, Joris Bijdendijk, and Janny visit the Dutch National Museum. In his restaurant Het Rijks, Joris prepares pasta filled with fish farce, little Arnhem snails and butter from Amsterdam, and Michel Rekers prepares mashed potatoes with pea soup. And for dessert, we conclude with a visit to a Dutch doughnuts booth.
